I haven't followed the blog since the HDD died, so I don't know, neither can I come with a good guess.

And about abit early too hoard my stuff.. Nah, I probably wont get many other chances, yet alone remember these plans to reset the map an' all, I'm in a rough ride in this part of my life.

Things are clearing up though, so I will be more active soon.. I hope so anyway.

One issue with keeping inv stuff, the old player pos is still the same. :S

If your at position x:1 y:1 z:1 on the old map after you have collected all your valuables and stored em in your inventory, then exits. And waits for me to update server to 1.8 and transfer the playerfiles to the new server map, the player position will still be the same. And that position might just be covered with lava, water, dirt, in fact who knows?

So I just started falling randomly when joining my test-server, but I had kept my inventory.

you could set up the server on 1.8 but keep it offline, then fine a position and then on the real server tell us to go to that poin so that when you put 1.8 online we will spawn at the point you told us to go to

Or I might just TP you to me, only the ones requesting to keep their inventory in forums will be kept.
But so far zxc, matt, teflon, naga and me are being kept. If anyone else wants to, let me know in this thread or another.

Sure, please encourage them to register on forums. Its very good to have the majority of the players on the forum. Easier for planning etc, and sorry for being away from the server. But im kind of waiting for the 1.8 release to play
