Yes, I'm thinking about it. Cause then we will get all the new fancy map-gen stuff, like NPC villages etc.

I know it's alot of work that gets lost, but a fresh start isn't that bad? or is it?



Pros:

* We might get more new users, since the server then is "fresh"
* We get the new terrain-gen stuff, like NPC villages, random dungeons, and the new biome code.
* Do things properly, roads, railroads etc.

Cons:

* We loose everything! I will never delete the backup if we decide to reset map.

I would do it because i havnt been logging on much because I couldn't really find a nice place to build.

Well, I want to keep the inventory stuff for each user so that everything you got on your inventory on the old server you got on the new. Not sure if it's possible tho, need to check it out.

No, only your player inventory. So I'll give everyone a few days before switching to store up the most valuable stuff in your inv.

A little early to collect the valuable stuff? Not that its a bad thing, always good to be safe

I haven't followed the blog since the HDD died, so I don't know, neither can I come with a good guess.

And about abit early too hoard my stuff.. Nah, I probably wont get many other chances, yet alone remember these plans to reset the map an' all, I'm in a rough ride in this part of my life.

Things are clearing up though, so I will be more active soon.. I hope so anyway.
